  • For people 1-44, traumatic brain injury is the leading cause of death/disability.
  • 800,000 Americans sustain non-traumatic brain injuries annually.
  • Every 40 seconds, someone in the US has a stroke and someone is brought into the hospital for a traumatic brain injury.
