BrainIAC is a club at Duke University established to serve as a resource to improve the quality of life of individuals with brain injuries. The primary goal is providing emotional support to patients and caretakers through club events, awareness, research, and evidence-based guidelines. We want to make sure that loved ones and friends are eased with the burden of brain injury.

BrainIAC provides brain injury support groups to allow people with brain injuries and their family members to meet others in similar situations. They gain valuable emotional support, form friendships, obtain information, and discuss a variety of brain injury topics. We also hold one-on-one peer buddy programs, pairing students with a person who is recovering from a brain injury. We also host a podcast and presentations with physician, researcher, caretaker, and patient guests to spread awareness about brain injuries. Our blogs will also contain information about latest research studies and resources for caretakers. We will also implore patients to engage in meditations and yoga sessions so that recovering patients develop healthy habits to help them active.
